On Monday we had our 20 week ultrasound at the Northshore Hospital in Evanston. Everything checked out great and we found out that we're having a girl! We're both very excited. Jake is a little nervous, too. Haha. We've had a list of our top boy and girl names for about a month now, but you'll have to wait until she's born to find out what we've picked. Here are some ultrasound photos of our little girl. It's amazing how much detail you can see in these. It's a little blurry in this photo but we could even see each little vertebrae of her spine!
This is one of my favorites. It's her two little feet, looking up at them from the bottoms.
Other than that, we've been so busy lately. My parents came down for the weekend to help get our house in shape. In order to start on the baby's room, we had to clear out all of the junk that has ended up in there. And in order to do that, we had to clean out all of our other closets to make room for it. We were all exhausted, but our place is looking so nice now! And we have the baby's closet all set to go. The next step is moving the big furniture to the office to create an office/guest room. Then we'll have the nursery empty...and ready to fill again. Thanks for your help mom and dad!
