Brags and Bummers

When I was young, we would play a game of sorts when we sat down to dinner as a family. My mom called it "Brags and Bummers". Everyone had to tell one brag, or good thing about your day, and one not so good thing. It usually sparked some sort of conversation at the dinner table (or in our home, the kitchen counter).

Well, today's post was supposed to be full of "brags" and photos telling this story:

But instead, we came home to this:

Water damage from the unit above us.  We're talking a soft, warped ceiling, bubbling paint, warped hardwood floors, and soggy carpet - in both our upstairs and down.

  Bummer. Major bummer.

So over the next few days, I'll try to get our trip photos on here as well as keep you posted on what is going on with our home. Wish us luck. Ugh.
