Jake and I took the day off to hang out with some friends that were passing through town. Jake's old collage buddy, Wes, his wife Megan and their son Wyatt are on their way to Memphis and decided to make a pit stop in Chicago, and we're SO glad they did!
In the short time that they were here we managed to pack in a full day of chicago traffic, zoo, beautiful weather, a "seagull exhibit," an escape from a giant spider (yes, I really ran), a close call with a polar bear, a Chicago-style deep dish pizza, enough yogurt to sink a ship, and two toddlers that ran, and ran, and ran, and didn't nap, and ran some more! Alora had so much fun with her new playmate, Wyatt. They got along like peas and carrots!
