Taco Pie

A more suitable title for this post might be "Why I am Married." According to Jake, this is the recipe that won him over.

In case you haven't noticed, we have a thing for tacos here at the Malek household. Taco nights are our favorite and you might remember our Taco Pizza experiment. But Taco Pie is one of our tried and true favorites and it's as easy as, well, pie.

Ingredient List:
1 tube of crescent rolls (we use Pilsbury)
1 lb of taco seasoned meat
1.5 cups of crushed Doritos
1 cup of sour cream
4 oz of shredded cheddar cheese

Line a baking dish with the crescent rolls.

Sprinkle half of the crushed Doritos over the crust.

(In this order) Top with meat, spread on the sour cream, sprinkle the cheese and the remaining crushed Doritos.

Bake at 375 degrees for about 25 minutes. {Yes, we made two. They're great for leftovers.}

 Serve with lettuce, tomatoes, hot sauce and a little more sour cream. Enjoy!
